Meet the woman who is changing the definition of a “bikini body”. We chatted with Ariella Nyssa to get her thoughts all things body confidence, empowerment and fashion.
In case you didn’t know, Ariella is a lifestyle and swimwear blogger from Sydney. She is on a mission to make cellulite the norm, because…it is the norm.
Next time you step into a bikini, or question whether to wear your new crop top, just scroll through the positive captions on her Insta photos. They encourage us all to be unashamedly who we are. There is nothing better than a girl cheering on girls.

Q: Hi Ariella, tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do…
A: I’m an influencer and post all about self-love, and loving your body in all forms. It’s so important in this day and age of face-tune and photoshop to spread the message.
Q: Do you have a life mantra to share with us?
A: YOU DO YOU. Never let anyone make you feel inferior for who you are, or the choices you make.
Q: What’s your advice for women feeling insecure about their own bodies?
A: We are all so unique and special, why try to put all of us into one standard of beauty? We all come from different backgrounds, cultures and experiences and should all feel beautiful about ourselves.
Q: What song do you have on repeat at the minute?
A: I Wanna Dance With Somebody – Whitney Houston (literally my pump up song).
Q: Summer is obviously just beginning in Aus, what’s your clothing staple for the new season?
A: If you know me, you know I’m always at the beach, so my summer staple is definitely a bikini…
Q: What empowers you?
A: Women empowering other women. That’s how it’s meant to be.
Q: What’s your guilty pleasure? (We all have something!)
A: Probably trashy magazines or watching reality tv.
Q: Who is your number one female inspiration right now?
A: I love women who stick up for what’s right and try to break the mould. I love Zendaya at the moment, she’s killing it.
