We’re easing ourselves back in to the swing of things here at MGHQ.
Gradually waking from our cake comas and recovering from a particularly jubilant few days.

What better time then to start thinking about another Great British instiution?
We’re talking festivals here. But as always we like to do things in style.
We’ve gathered a collection of our favourite festivals throughout the UK –
Will we see you there?

Lovebox – London

The Lovebox Weekender mixes club and radio DJs, bands, and acoustic performers and returns to London’s Victoria Park from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th June 2012.
Featuring MG favourites Lana Del Rey, Rita Ora and Emilie Sande.

Kendal Calling – Lake District

Kendal Calling is an independent festival based in the beautiful scenery of the Lake District.
With art, music and entertainment Kendal Calling is the whole package.
27th-29th July. Just don’t forget your MG wellies

The Parklife Weekender – Manchester

You might have been handed one of Parklife’s trademark Polaroid flyers over the past couple of months.
They document Parklife’s revellers in Manchester’s Platt Fields for the past two years.
This year expect performances from DJ Fresh, Delilah and Annie Mac

Summer Break – Newquay

One for the students…

“The ultimate post-exam blowout for university students in the UK’s most famous party mecca: Newquay!”
Luxury caravans, outdoor swimming pools, party villages… Can we go back to University please?!
Sub Focus, Kissy Sell Out and Mista Jam headline this 8 day long beach party from 10th-14th and 17th – 24th June.

Rockness – Loch Ness, Scotland

Do you prefer your studded details to your girly prints?
Are you more rock ‘n’ roll than cute and sweet?
Rockness might be for you. With Biffy Clyro headlining the main stage
you’ll need your studded tee to stand out from the crowd.

Whether you’re camping to see Kissy Sell Out or in love with Lana Del Rey, Missguided’s festival essentials
will keep you looking good come rain or shine…

but probably rain.
