Hey everyone,
We’re David and Heather, the new Marketing interns at Missguided! With David having just finished his second year at the University of Birmingham where he studies joint honours English Literature and French, Heather is a third year studying Fashion Promotion at UCLAN. Whilst David has no desire to spend his future career reading books from before our time, Heather studies fashion as a vocation, so becoming a member of the stylish marketing team here at Missguided HQ was an opportunity we grabbed with both hands!

Heather describes herself as fashion conscious, witty and carefree, admitting (shamelessly) that she’s a cat lady! David, on the other hand, says he’s a bit like a modern Jekyll and Hyde (you can tell he’s a Literature student), a huge geek during the week who pulls out his glad-rags to become a massive party-animal at weekends!

We’ll be getting both hands on deck while we’re here over the next few weeks; everything from tweeting and tumbling, to seeing what everyone’s latest Pinterests are! We’ll also be helping the style team with style hour on Facebook, which Heather’s mega excited about!

Regular blog posts, and sending out new PR samples to some of the amazing celebs who wear Missguided, are some more of our responsibilities while we’re here. Safe to say we’ve landed on our feet spending our days on social media in amongst the style that resonates throughout Missguided! We just had a tour around the showroom… One word: mega!

If, like us, you’ve just finished your exams and you’re looking to well and truly let your hair down, or, perhaps like the rest of us at Missguided, you’re on the countdown to summer and wanting to paint the town red, keep your eye on Missguided’s latest arrivals. We’re as excited about all things Missguided as you probably are. Keep your eyes peeled and watch this space; we can’t wait to get involved!

I loved the ‘Meet the Interns’ post and I was just wondering how you guy’s managed to bag such an amazing Internship with the brand and most importantly HOW DO I APPLY? It’d be great to hear some of your tips and advice!

    Thanks again :)
