To celebrate Kate Moss’ birthday we’ve put together the ten times that she killed it… and it wasn’t easy. She’s been on the front of over 300 international Vogue covers, shooting her first Vogue cover when she was only 19. Kate has helped to shape and dominate the fashion industry as we know it, being shot by every top photographer in the business. We can’t even begin to list all the major fashion campaigns, magazine covers and shoots she’s done in her lifetime!
Check out some of our favourite images of her below.
Kate Covers Love Magazine in 2013 / 2011
Ok so we couldn’t decide between these Love magazine covers, so we went for both. Both covers were shot by iconic fashion photography duo Mert and Marcus.
Kate in Calvin Klein 1993
This iconic campaign was shot in 1993, you probably know the photos with Mark Wahlberg (aka Marky Mark). This is from back in the 90’s when all you needed was a scrappy top and matching pants, less has always been more!
Kate with Johnny Depp in 1995
This photo was taken at Frank Sinatra’s 80th birthday in 1995 when the pair were a couple. Name a more iconic couple… we’ll wait.
Kate by Nick Knight
This image was shot by Nick Knight (Show Studio) in 2010, Kate wears latex and looks very gothic – proving that the queen of fashion can pull off literally ANY look.
Kate by Craig McDean
This amazing editorial was shot by Craig McDean for Vogue UK back in 2008, here Kate manages to pull off a short pixie crop – paired with a military style outfit. Is it just us or do we need this as a poster on our walls?!
Kate by Peter Lindbergh
Kate Moss photographed by Peter Lindbergh for Harper’s Bazaar in 1994. We can’t get enough of how she manages to look good wearing just a pair of dungarees. Fresh faced Moss is absolute goals.
Kate by Rankin
This stunning portrait was taken by fashion and portrait photographer Rankin, fresh faced Kate bares all with simple and natural make up. We woke up like this too…
Kate & Naomi
Ok so we asked you to name a more iconic duo than Kate Moss and Johnny Depp… could it be Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell? These two are by far the most famous British supermodels on the planet. The fact that they were BFF’s back in the day just makes it even better. This shoot was for Interview Russia in 2012, shot again by Mert Atlas and Marcus Piggot.
Kate at her Book Launch
Kate looking Goddess-like at her book launch in 2012, we can’t get over her glowing make up, vintage dress and presence in this photograph. Major inspo for next party season!
Kate for Vogue Paris
Shot by Mario Sorrenti for Vogue Paris in 2010, we can’t get over her amazing figure in this. She looks absolutely stunning and we can only hope we look this good in our 30’s…
