London-based trio Nathan, Gavin and Luke make up the electro band Disciples who we’re seriously obsessing over RN.  Their tracks are addictive so if you’re into house and garage then you’re gonna want to give these guys a listen.

We caught up with them to chat Instagram stalking, superhero powers and where we can catch them performing next…

Tell us about yourself…

Duvall: I met Gavin in Reigate College in Surrey many moons ago – we were the only two on an over-subscribed music technology course that were into the same music, Hip-Hop R&B and House. Not long after we started producing together recreating some of our favourite songs out at that time. I then went to work for a label and decided to search for someone or something to sign. This is where I met Luke. Nothing transpired, we went our separate ways until I bumped into him on New Year’s Eve in a bar in Crystal Palace a few years after. Fast forward a few months, Disciples was formed and a few months after that we had our first record deal. We got signed for £1. No joke.

Our music is a combination of who we are on the day we make it, and many fist fights in the studio about which bass-line is the best one to use. House music is our home, but we definitely dive in and out and use influences from other genres.

What was the first thing you did this morning?

Can’t say, children may be reading this.

Who’s the coolest person you’ve met so far?

Jeremy Piven from Entourage, absolute boss.

Who are you currently stalking on Instagram?

Rita Ora, Kylie Jenner & Trevor McDonald.

What would be your superhero power?

The ability to erase people’s memories of specific moments and events. The things we would get up to… o_O

You can only wear one outfit for the rest of the year, what is it?

A Onesie.

Where can we see you perform next?

Ibiza (Amnesia), SW4, Made in America, Reading & Leeds Festival to name a few.
