We caught up with mega-babe and singer Daisy Clark to chat musical inspo, future performances and face gigs…
Tell us about yourself…
My name is Daisy Clark. I’m an 18 years old singer songwriter from Cornwall, UK. I’ve been involved with performing arts ever since I can remember and always had a strong passion for music. When I was around 13, I decided that I wanted to pursue music as a singer/songwriter with my acoustic guitar. I started playing gigs and uploading covers and original songs on to my YouTube channel, and 5 years later I’m consistently gigging and performing. I have also had multiple viral successes which have equated to over 8 million views!
What 5 travel essentials can’t you live without on tour?
Probably… A hat (usually a beanie) – as a good curly hair day can very easily turn into a bad one. A Camera – I love my polaroid camera! It’s essential for good photo opportunities. Concealer – so even when I don’t want to wear a full face of make-up, I don’t look to much like a zombie. Hair bands – I seem to bring home less than I take with me, but they are such a life saver. Last but not least it would have to be my headphones – for my current playlist
Your videos are amazing, what’s the inspiration?
I have always been inspired and took great inspiration from Youtubers such as Christina Grimmie, Andie Isalie and Dodie Clark, when I put my music out on to YouTube. I used to be so scared of sharing my original songs, they were like diary entries. But watching these Youtubers share their beautiful music, motivated me to write songs and upload them.
How would you describe your aesthetic and how does it inspire your music?
I’d say my aesthetic is quite bohemian and girly. I love the summery Missguided/boho/festival vibe! I feel that fits quite well with my music, especially the softer acoustic songs.
Who’s the coolest person you’ve met so far?
Most definitely the 1975. I had the pleasure of meeting Matty, George and Ross. If you’ve ever visited my YouTube channel you will know I’m a huge fan of their music, so to meet the artists behind that was incredible.
Where can we see you perform next?
I’m currently gigging all over my home county in multiple venues and have some upcoming gigs in London, I’m also travelling to the US soon for a few gigs out there, but all will be revealed on my social pages. Check them out on Insta @daisyclarkmusic and Facebook at @daisyyclark

Why do you think the relationship between fashion and music is so strong?
I think that fashion and music are the best ways that you can express yourself! I love expressing my style through fashion just as much as I love expressing emotions through songwriting. I feel that they’re both creative platforms and are very versatile when it comes to genres and styles.
