10 THINGS TO EASE YOU INTO THE NEW SEASON| February 7, 2016
With January over, we’re looking forward to the new season and the things you’re actually gonna want in your wardrobe…
So Kim K may have been the first to make us fall head over heels for everything camel and nude, but come SS16 we’re still in love. If there’s a colour palette you’re gonna wanna build your wardrobe round for the new season, this is this one. Try a camel skirt or camel shoes to add a pop of nude into your wardrobe…
January got us dressing lazy and we’re still not quite over it. Working out and eating healthy is hard work so we’ve been reaching for the oversized tees and skinny ripped jeans for our everyday wardrobe. It’s the model off duty look but done to perfection.
If there’s one piece you want in your wardrobe this month, it’s the blazer dress. We’ve seen it on all our faves and we want in on the action too.
There’s something about cropped trousers that we just can’t help but love. Dress ‘em up or dress ‘em down, they’re one trend that we’ve not been able to stop wearing.
Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you will have seen Gigi looking smokin’ in her bandeau dress number. Talk about heart eyes emoji! We’ve been rocking chokers and high necks ever since.
The committed amongst us will still be making 6am journeys to the gym (even if it’s just so we can eat more chocolate on Fridays), so you can trust us when we tell you that it makes it a whole lot easier when your gym kit looks as good as this. Throw on your white shoes and you’re ready to go.
It’s been your uniform since forever and new season denim has landed. Extreme rips, super skinnies and raw hems are all top of our wishlists and there’s plenty more new smokin’ styles about to drop for summer too…trust us.
Roll it right back to the 70s with a trend that’s gonna have you all tied up. We saw the lace up trend on our fave bloggers first and we’ve been adding to bag ever since.
Spell it out for the haters in to-the-point slogan tees that you can wear all year round. Keep daytime dressing laidback and style it out with ripped skinnies and trainers.
The harness is the accessory du jour for SS16. Underwear as outerwear is the new big thing so sass up a plain white tee or let your strappy bra do the talking under a sheer white shirt.
