PAMELA ANDERSON PRESENTS MISSGUIDED| March 21, 2016
Introducing the latest Babe of Missguided, Pamela freakin’ Anderson. We interviewed the ultimate pin-up girl to find out all about her girl powers and thoughts on life and beauty.
What rule do you live by?
The rule I live by is to be myself.
Tell us something about you we might not know…
Something you might not expect is that I’m not afraid of hard work. I take acting very seriously now and I’ve been drifting in and out of acting classes so I think this might be something I took for granted early on. And now I’ve got the bug, so I’m curious about it all.
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
My biggest guilty pleasure is that I read veraciously. I’ve always been a fan of the classics but I’m venturing into subtle art forms and ways of expression. I’m starting to do art and I’m honouring my intellect.
What’s the craziest moment of your life?
The craziest moment of my life is when I lost myself in love with someone who was yet to love me back. Still yet…
The best advice anyone ever gave me was from my mum. She said that beauty comes from within and that it never ages.
What makes you feel empowered as a woman?
I think we live in a time where we women can do more then ever before, but still so many suffer. I know I’ve been given this life so I can help others dream. What’s my biggest dream? To be a docent, a museum guide. I love art.
What do you love about Missguided?
I love Missguided as vegan, that’s number one. I have to laugh at the name of the brand; it makes me feel a bit silly.
What are you top 3 girl power commandments?
Enjoy your beauty, be mysterious and no selfies.
What advice would you give my 19 year old self?
Well when I was 18, I hadn’t been on a plane yet. I lived on Vancouver Island and had no idea what laid ahead. I wanted to live a meaningful life. I love fairytales; my father and grandfather were poets and I wanted to write too. Now everything’s come full circle, I may still go to school; it’s never too late
I always knew I would never leave the beach; it’s where I always felt safest. So my advice would have been just enjoy the ride, ride the wave – and that’s what I’ve done and continue to do.
What can you never have too much of?
Inspiring friends and conversation.
When are you at your best?
When I’m looking you straight in the eye. And when I’m doing the right thing, and when people see that in me I feel validated and content.
What’s your style spirit animal?
A golden Eagle I’ve been told.
What’s your biggest dream?
To save the planet and all it’s beings, protect endangered species, habitats and live together harmoniously.
What turns you on?
Smart, brave and beautiful men.
What does beauty mean to you?
It’s an internal heat, it’s not skin deep- it is ageless and mystical.
When do you feel comfortable in your body?
When I’m lost in a lover’s embrace.
You mentioned in one interview once that you cut your hair short but then missed your long hair and grew it out again. What about your long hair is it that makes you feel comfortable?
I’ve always hidden in my hair. It was a security blanket – I’m glad its grown back so I can hide again, but short hair was a wake up call to me.
What makes you giggle?
Compliments. When the man I love surprises me with his persistent gaze and talks to me seriously about love. And makes promises he can’t keep. That’s both funny and disturbing at the same time. It’s a curse that I can see into the future. Doesn’t stop me though…
