Student #babesofmissguided: What to wear, where

Being a student is pretty tough when you’re in a new city for the first time, with new people and a totally new living situation. Lucky for you, we’ve rounded up our student #babesofmissguided who have shot some of their real-life uni outfits to provide you with all the inspo you need for an on-point look, whatever the occasion.

The sitch: Seminar to Bar

We’ve been there, sometimes the only thing that will get you through a 3 hour lecture is the prospect of heading straight to the bar. Trust us, it will happen more than you think.

Update your graphic tee and jeans with a oversized shaggy cardigan and heeled boots for a look that can carry you straight from uni to SU.

Brave enough for bare legs? This contrast stitch co-ord is super cute for day to night.

You can never go wrong with an oversized band tee. A heeled ankle boot and  mom jeans complete the look.

Wanna dress to impress? an ovesized white shirt can be styled multiple ways and is a total wardrobe staple. Flash a lacy bra for when uni’s over and this shearling bag is a total designer dupe.

The sitch: going out out.

When your student loan drops in Jan, re-freshers should be top of your to do list. 90s dressing is the perfect trend for going out out this season. Separates mean you can wear these pieces on multiple nights out , and never have to be an outfit repeater. Check co-ords, metallics, vinyls furs and lace are everything you need right now.

This check co ord is super cute – and if mini skirts aren’t your thing, we have legging options too. Wear shades, don’t throw them.

A metallic mini dress is a great staple for uni nights out, add chain belts and cute accessories for new season update.

If you prefer a more glam night out, team vinyl lace and fur together and clash textures for an ultimate glam look.

A corset top is perfect for nights out, and can also be layered over tees for a chic day outfit too. This leather pants and vinyl jacket make a dream combo.

The sitch: Hungover AF.

Multiple times during your first year of uni, you’ll find yourself waking up and feeling not so fresh. A sick outfit, maccies breakfast and a large coffee will sort you right out babe.

Double denim and shades is a super simple hangover look. This jacket has shearling sleeves to keep warm in the cooler months.

Excited for fri-yay? This slogan sweat does all the talking, so you dont have to.

It’s f*cking freezing, you need all the layers. Team with cropped denim and chunky boots for an outfit perfect for uni.

Can’t face wearing real trousers? Joggers will be your best friend for the morning after the night before. Style like Layla and Ninni  with an oversized shearling coat and cosy down.
