THREE WAYS TO DIY YOUR DENIM| June 22, 2016
Everyone loves denim and what better way to wear it than when you’ve basically designed it yourself? Here are some super simple ways to make your denim uniquely yours…
Patch it up
Patches are a super cool way to make your denim stand out. Buy a load of iron or sew on patches and sew or iron them onto your favourite denim jacket or pair of jeans. Another awesome touch is to add broaches and pin badges to give your outfit 90s grunge vibes.
We all need shorts in the summer and we’ve got the best idea to make them feel new again. Firstly choose a piece of cute-ass fabric and measure this around the inside pocket in your shorts, then using a pair of scissors, cut the fabric down to the correct size and stick it to your shorts pocket using a glue gun, or sew using a matching thread. Create a distressed look by ripping holes and cuts in the front of your shorts – you can also cut them along the hemline to make them even shorter. Those cute coloured pockets will draw everyone’s attention to your cool new shorts.
You may have noticed that raw hems are kinda major right now and we can’t get enough. DIY an old pair of jeans to update for new season by simply cutting the hems.
